Liz George Stump is a candidate for the Upper Arlington Board of Education. Liz earned a Masters in Business Administration from The Ohio State University after earning her undergraduate degree in English and Music. With two decades of experience in corporate financial services, she has developed her skills in process, project, and operations management. At Discover Financial Services, she directs a variety of customer service teams to achieve strategic goals collaboratively. Liz and her husband, Jeff, have 2 children - Natalie, a 6th grader at Hastings, and John, a 4th grader at Windermere Elementary - and have lived in Upper Arlington for 14 years.
Liz passionately advocates for issues affecting her community, particularly the schools. She realizes that a solid foundational education sets a child up for a successful future and believes in school leadership supporting teachers and staff. As a graduate of Leadership UA, Liz continues to develop her understanding of community connections and resources that can work together to turn UA Schools into the vanguard district for 21st-century learning.
