I am a community and business leader and a 14-year resident of Upper Arlington. As your representative on the Board of Education, I will bring my leadership capability and experience as a UA school parent to ensure that students and schools grow and continue to thrive.
A strong education sets up students for a successful future and providing that starts with a school board that uses their power to support the teachers and staff working every day to educate UA’s next generation. As a school board member, I’m committed to creating an environment that prepares students to be compassionate, creative problem solvers, who graduate ready to engage in our increasingly diverse world.
I’m so grateful to have the support of these amazing organizations. Their support is a huge part of the campaign and I’m looking forward to continuing to work with them in the countdown to the election!
Thank you to Leadership UA for hosting Candidates’ Night last week! You can listen to the entire meeting, or follow on social in the coming days to catch some clips. I appreciate the chance to connect with voters and talk about the real issues impacting our community and schools!
Last week was Banned Books Week, highlighting banned books in support of students’ access to information and educators’ freedom to teach.
Check out this list of the ten most challenged books around the United States and make a plan to support books and authors that ask challenging questions right here in UA.
